Brief Profile: After B.Tech. from IIT Bombay in Mechanical Engineering started my career as Commissioning Engineer in BHEL in 1981( 2 yrs 8 months). After PGDM ,IIM Calcutta (84-86, 21st batch) worked in consumer durable industry - (selling and marketing television sets, launching the product in Rajasthan and West Bengal)-5.5 yrs. Launched colour coated roofing sheets in Assam (1 yr 9 months). One of the founder member of the start up (Gurukul Vidyamandir Secondary School, Joka)- 7 yrs. Have been working as a marketing faculty (assistant professor) and coordinator (marketing dept) in Institute of Engineering and Management, Salt Lake since last 7 yrs. Teaching - marketing research, service marketing. Enrolled as a PhD student (research scholar) in June 2016. Area of research - customer satisfaction, online shopping. Age -58 yrs
