He is currently serving as Senior Vice President – APAC at SyAM Software Inc., a position he has held since April 2008, where he has successfully led the India and APAC regions and closed several major enterprise software deals. Simultaneously, he served as Director – India Operations at DGC AG, a Germany-based global cybersecurity company, from November 2022 to October 2023, Senior Vice President and Head – India Operations at Fleetsu (April 2017 – April 2018) and as Senior Vice President – Sales, Asia at Integrum Management Systems (January 2014 – February 2016). Earlier in his career, he worked as Independent Director and Sales Consultant – APAC at SANtools, Inc. (April 2006 – May 2010), where he developed volume software licensing businesses for SANtools Inc. and LC Technology Inc. through OEM channels in India. He has also held management positions at Signotron India Pvt. Ltd., driving OEM business and encryption project deals with major customers, and played key sales and marketing roles at FACT Software Pty. Ltd. and HCL Infosystems Ltd. In addition, he is the Founder and Consultant of outsourced software sales projects as a self-employed professional. Bitan brings world-class leadership experience in executive management, business development, distribution strategy, market creation, and the launch of new ventures, products, and value-added services, with extensive exposure across Europe and the Asia Pacific.
