Appeti provides an online platform for providing regional delicacies sourced from its origin to satisfy the craving for authentic taste by finding locally sourced gourmet foods from around the country and delivering them to a person’s doorstep. They are also helping regional food purveyors reach a national audience. Customers with a gifting mindset can easily send the desired authentic food to anybody they wish to through this online platform. Appeti offers authentic delicacies from different states of India at your doorstep at affordable prices. They connect customers with culture and place of origin. Regional delicacies are available at the doorstep on a mouse click and also on android application. They are currently functioning at 16 cities across India with around 34 vendors and catering more than 400 customers with 350+ varieties of authentic delicacies. They have strong tie up with various logistic partners for speedy delivery of all the items. The company will be built as a self sustainable model by 2018.

Customers/Users: We have following main markets: * People who live in India and do not find time and authentic food at their respective locations. Quality, prices and authenticity are some of the major concerns when they shop locally. * Students in colleges who are living away from their homes, look to taste regional sweets, snacks, pickles etc. in their hostels, if provided right at their doorstep. * People who live outside India but have cravings for authentic regional delicacies. This group is not able to find such food items so easily in abroad countries. * B2B such as corporates during festivals, wedding planners during marriages, * Families in India who will be our target market for subscription model and return business. Also, they will be the pioneer for word of mouth publicity. Furthermore, Appeti will cater to the growing need of foodies who seek a differing cuisine than that of the established food chains.

Revenue Model: It evolves around e-commerce and commission model. We make money by charging an extra premium for offering authentic delicacies at the customer's doorstep. Also we charge a specific commission from vendors which varies from 20-70% and that contributes to our operating profit. Other revenue streams include advertising and subscription model.

Current traction: Sales of more around Rs 10 L so far serving more than 1000 customers.
